Wax Bar

If you own our signature raincoat in the waxed cotton, this is for you.  While the abrasion rating is very high on the wax, eventually you will need to touch it up in spots of extreme wear.  Using the same wax content formula that is applied to the fabric at the Halley Stevensons mill, refreshing your jacket by rubbing the bar on the affected areas will keep it functioning properly for many years.  How to apply:

• Clean using a sponge and allow to dry before application.
  
• Rub the bar onto the fabric surface using long even strokes.
  
• Heat the waxed area using a hairdryer and use a sponge to give an even, penetrated application.
• Allow the wax to cure in a warm place for at least 24 hours.
